Dear AMA Advisor,
Does your Chapter have what it takes to Save a Life?
The Collegiate American Marketing Association invites your Chapter and members to participate in a competition that provides the opportunity to save thousands of lives. The AMASavesLives Project is coordinated by the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics Organ Procurement Organization and Applied PhD Research and supported by the US Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
Over the next two years, Chapters like yours will plan and implement successful marketing campaigns on college campuses across the United States to help increase awareness about the critical need for organ donation and create online videos as part of the AMASavesLives Video Competition. Four different competitions will be sponsored by the Collegiate American Marketing Association and up to $9,000 in awards given to AMA Chapters between now and August 31, 2010. For complete details on the four competitions we encourage you and your Chapter leaders to visit www.AMASavesLives.com/Competition.php.
Please encourage your Executive Board and Chapter members to get involved and develop videos promoting awareness and donor registration decisions along with other creative marketing ideas to earn national recognition, prizes, and gain great experience. To learn more about how you can help your Chapter get involved visitwww.AMASavesLives.com/Advisors.php and encourage your Chapter Executive Board to visit www.AMASavesLIves.com/ChapterLeaders.php.
We need your help as an advisor to encourage participation in this life-saving effort.
Please feel free to contact us at help@amasaveslives.com or call 608-575-1407 with questions. It is our hope that you will join us as we strive to register 50,000 new donor registrants nationally.
