Hi everyone!!

I have a big favor to ask.  You may or may not know, but I am a member of the Collegiate American Marketing Association PUT YOUR SHOOL HERE. We are participating in a 2-year project sponsored by the federal government to help save lives.  This project is called AMASavesLives and is designed to get people talking about being an organ donor.  There are over 105,000 people on the organ donor waiting list and many people on the waiting list die each day.

Here is my favor, if you are currently not registered to be an organ donor, please go to http://www.amasaveslives.com/ to sign up.  Even if you are already an organ donor, please check out the site anyway to see what we are doing.  My chapter can win a number of competitions including best videos, number of videos submitted, best AMA organ donor events and number of organ donors registered, so your involvement will help me as well.

I have two other favors (both easy as well):

  1. Please send an email to everyone you know to get them involved in the project as well - - this is the “grassroots” part of the project.  So that my chapter gets credit, please let them know that that they should note PUT YOUR SHOOL HERE as how they learned about the project.
  2. If possible, create your own video (you can use your cell or video camera) and send to your family and friends.  You can also post this video on the AMASavesLives Project web site.

Hi everyone!!

Not long ago I sent you an email on a two-year organ donor registration project that my Collegiate American Marketing Association Chapter is doing here at PUT YOUR SHOOL HERE. The project is called AMASavesLives and can be found at http://www.amasaveslives.com.

The project is all about creating grassroots awareness of the need for organ donation and to make it easy for people to sign up.

I know some of you already went to the web site to check it out.  If you haven’t, please do so because it is an important way to get the word out about organ donation.  Even if you have already signed up to be an organ donor, can you……

  1. Send an email to people in your address book with the project link, and
    2.  
  2. Post the project on your Facebook page or other social media site?
