Who is Eligible?
Anyone from your AMA Chapter can submit a video on behalf of your chapter. You can also encourage other students from your campus, family members, or other friends to get involved and submit videos on behalf of your chapter. These videos will count toward your Chapter’s total video submissions as long as the individual designates your Chapter during the submission process.

Best Video of the Month Competition
The following are recommendations and other guidelines for submitting a video for the Best Video of the Month Competition:
- Length: Between 30 seconds and 4 minutes, longer videos are accepted.
- Format: Any video format is accepted.
- Topic/Content: Below we provide some suggestions of possible topics for your video. However, you are not limited to these suggestions. Be creative and have fun!
- Discuss facts or other statistics about organ donation
- Share a story of a local organ donor’s family or an organ transplant recipient. Maybe someone in your AMA chapter knows someone who received a transplant or a donor family, or maybe there is someone on your campus whose story you could share. If you are interested in finding someone in your area we can help you get in contact with your local Organ Procurement Organization to see if they know someone willing to share their story.
- Create messages for different target audiences that people can share with their friends, siblings, parents, grandparents, or others they know.
- Encourage viewers to visit the AMASavesLives.com website and sign up to be an organ donor in their state

Total Videos Submitted & Accepted Competition
The following are recommendations and other guidelines for submitting a video for the Total Videos Submitted & Accepted Competition:
- Length: Between 30 seconds and 1 minute is recommended, longer videos are accepted.
- Format: Any video format is accepted.
- Topic/Content: Below we provide some suggestions of possible topics for your video. However, you are not limited to these suggestions. Videos submitted to the Best Video of the Month competition are also counted as part of your Chapter’s total. To increase the number of videos you submit we encourage you to have each member of your Chapter and others from your campus film short personalized videos with messages to their family, friends, and other contacts about their wishes regarding organ donation or other information they would like to share. Here are some ideas to help get you started.
- Discuss facts or other statistics about organ donation
- Create personalized messages like “Hey Mom and Dad…” or “Hey Grandma and Grandpa…”
- Encourage viewers to visit the AMASavesLives.com website and sign up to be an organ donor in their state

You can use our video submission upload page to upload your video and identify your chapter. Once you enter the information and agree to release the content of your video to the AMASavesLives project, your video will be submitted for review. Your video will be reviewed and posted on AMASavesLives.com within two business days.
